JOYFUL PRAISE

Psa. 66: 1-5

“Make a joyful noise to God, all you lands: Sing forth the honor of his name: make his praise glorious. Say to God, How terrible are you in your works! Through the greatness of your power shall your enemies submit themselves to you. All the earth shall worship you, and shall sing to you; they shall sing to your name. Selah. Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.”

If you want to see power this month, you must praise Him. Everything you have been struggling with will submit this month when you praise Him.

This month, anyone that stands against you will fall. You will walk in victory! Your mouth and house shall be full of testimonies! Every old thing that needs changing will be changed this month!

It is important this month to keep a joyful spirit, even when things come that threaten to make you sad. Deliberately keep a joyful spirit!

WHAT IS JOYFULNESS?

Joyfulness is a state of excitement and merriment in your heart.

Joyfulness is an outflow or radiation of beauty from within. Being joyful is different from being happy – happiness is a state of excitement because of something that happened to you; joyfulness flows from within to the outside regardless of what is happening on the outside.

The joy seated in your heart shows on your outside – in your countenance, your demeanour, even in the way you dress and in your offerings/giving. Emotional givers when they are not happy will not give as much as they used to; covenant givers know that no matter what is happening, their giving must not lessen.

Let nothing that happens around you change your state of heart.

Being joyful gives you the ability to maintain laughter, happiness and excitement despite painful and hard situations. Habb. 3: 17; Psa. 27: 6

Joyfulness is an outflow of the regenerated human spirit – and it is a fruit of the spirit. It is natural for the natural man to be angry/sad/frustrated/moody, but it becomes unusual as a Christian that he remains in that state constantly. Because there is a seed that has been planted in the believer to be joyful – when you find yourself being in an opposite state always, you need to check your spirit man.

POWERS OF JOYFULNESS

Joyfulness adds vitality and strength to your person. Sadness dries and sucks the youth out of you. Neh. 8: 10. Refuse to be sorrowful, let the joy of the Lord be your strength!

Be responsible for your own happiness and your state of mind. Let anyone say what they want, you determine how you feel!

Being joyful releases energy inside you. Isa. 61: 3.

This month, remove unnecessary weight from yourself. There is no purity if you are not living a life full of joy.

Without praise there cannot be power. Psa. 81: 1-4. It is a commandment that we must make a noise of praise! The mortuary is silent, the sanctuary must be noisy and full of praise to God!

One of the things to do to release the harvest of blessings upon your life is to be joyful! No one comes to the presence of God sad and leaves with something – it is mandatory to be joyful.

Your health depends on your joy. Psa. 51: 8. When you are glad and rejoicing, dry bones receive life, strength, failing body organs begin to revive. It has been proven medically that joyfulness slows down the aging process. Prov. 17: 22

Being joyful gives you the capacity to receive divine leading. You cannot experience clear directions and guidance from God if your heart is full of trouble. A heart full of joy attracts direction from God. Isa. 55: 12 tells us that when we are joyful, we will be led forth by God.

HOW DO I BUILD MY JOY?

You Must Learn To Trust God. Trust in God helps you to build your joy base. Ability to trust in God helps you to be joyful. One of the reasons people are not joyful is because they don’t believe in His word. Psalm 5:11; Isaiah 26:3

The Right Words. What you say and what you hear determines your joy! Mind what you give your ears to. Jer. 15: 16. Life is too short to indulge people, movies, situations etc. that make you sad and steal your joy.

Build your joy by hearing the word of God. Determine you hear good news. Believe only what the word of God says. Keep your faith and your face on the word of God – be a student of the word.

Prov. 15: 23 – “a man hath joy by the answer of his mouth…” The Bible has given the solution – what you answer to what they said to you determines how joyful you will be, or if you will be joyful at all!

Make a personal decision no matter what the news is, to be happy, to be joyful and to be full of high-spirited delight!

Remember your past testimonies. I Sam. 17: 34.

Do you know one of the reasons David was able to defeat Goliath? Because he remembered and testifies of his past victories – how he smote a lion and a bear, and how the uncircumcised Philistine, Goliath, was about to be another victory for him!

This is how to tell the devil to shut up – remind him and yourself of your past victories, and how this new “giant” is about to be surmounted! If you can think you can thank Him!

I pray for you this month, may you gather new things in Jesus’ name! may this October be a month of in-gathering for you in the name of Jesus!

I declare to you and yours, that in the mighty name of Jesus, nothing will make you cry!

Anything you are seeing around you that is making you sorrowful, God is turning them into joy! John 16: 19-20. The testimony that will cancel your pain, God is bringing it into your life this month!
