King Solomon was into over 44 different businesses, it is little wonder that he was wealthy. He received inspiration for these businesses, but the most important thing was that he put his inspiration and ideas in action.

Abraham was a businessman and an entrepreneur. Verse 2 of that scripture says he was rich in cattle, silver and gold.

Livestock farming includes catfish, snail, pig farming, etc.

• Can start small, even in your backyard
• Very little information and research needed
• No serious law against it

AGRO-PRODUCT EXPORTATION

They are foods and resources that can be exported, like Chilli Pepper, Mango, Kola Nuts, Cocoa, Cashew Nuts, Palm and Groundnuts Oil.

Things To Note:

• Decide your specific products.
• Register the company with the Nigerian Export Promotion Council.
• It is more capital-intensive than livestock farming.

TRANSPORTATION OPPORTUNITIES

Road Network: Buses, cars, bikes, tricycles etc.

For the road network business, you need to register at a park, get a good vehicle, get a well-mannered driver. It can also come in form of Group-owned transportation plan: Owner, Higher purchase dealer, Company based: Blessing Line, Ekene Dili Chukwu etc.

Haulage and Logistics: Deals with hauling heavy goods from location to locations on trucks, containers etc.

Doing the transportation business, you need to know that it is management intensive; you need to choose a particular product to haul, buy a truck or partner with a registered company.

Other opportunities in this business are Carwash, Car paintings, Vulcanizing, Driving School etc.

Inland Waterway Transport

Nigeria is blessed with rivers, creeks, lakes, and seas. Developed nations make a lot on waterways transportation.

Things To Do:

• Incorporate a company
• Obtain license from state and federal government
• Import or purchase boats, ferries etc.

Sewing of specialized uniforms: There are over 1000 Schools in Lagos States alone (Crèche, Primary and Secondary Schools).

E- SERVICES: TECHNOLOGY AND INTERNET BASED SERVICES

Services such as Web Designing, App Development, Web Hosting, Banner Designing, Digital Printing, Bulk SMS Services, Online Programme Registrations e.g. JAMB, WAEC, Professional Courses etc.

HOSPITALITY SERVICES

Daycare services: The need and demand for child care is on the increase

Things To Put In Place:

MANUFACTURING BUSINESS

Nigeria is lacking behind in manufacturing due to many reasons, but it is a large area of investment because they include products that people use daily!
